Hello Warships^(tm), my old friend
I've come to game with you again
I realize I should be sleeping
The clock's hands are slowly creeping
And tomorrow I must work, if don't rain
Please let it rain!
So I can play more Warships^(tm)

On virtual seas I longed to roam
Thus I sat down and donned headphones
Outside my window stood a pole and lamp
A summer storm had turned the air quite damp
Then my eyes were seared by the flash of a blinding light
That split the night
Then came the sound of warships

I ran outside my house and saw
The power pole had spit in two
Was it a billion volts I pondered
That had wrenched it so asunder
And my ears rang with a sound that voices never shared
And still I dared
To throw the circuit breaker

Pole, said I, where did I stow
The tools I'll need, I do not know
A ladder so that I might reach you
A cable so that I might patch you
But then the clouds burst open and furious raindrops fell
And just as well, I would just call tomorrow

The power techs a new pole laid
And patches to the line they made
But then my comp flashed out its warning
On a bue screen words were forming
And the words said "Hardware failure: device cannot be found"
So with a frown, I realized there would be
No Warships^(tm)
