738 [HINON] 212thAttackBattalion [HINON] Members 2,642 posts 7,936 battles Report post #1 Posted December 21, 2017 (edited) Today i hit 2 major milestones, with the same battle: I played 4000 random battles and I racked up my 1000th match in the Tier 7 British light cruiser HMS Fiji. Those who know me from my former clans and the forums know that i have a thing (some would call it obsession) with the ship, especially when i used to be up at 4am playing Fiji and taking all sorts of risks with her, luckily paying off more often than not. Now I've officially played 1 quarter of my total random matches in her. Am i planning on decommissioning her from my fleet and moving up the line for meme-a-taur? nope.... i intend to play 1000 more battles in her, she is an absolute beast of a ship and I've had so much fun captaining her. My overall stats: Achievements so far, at least 20 of the krakens are from Fiji: Fiji Stats: yes, Fiji is the only ship I've played over 400 matches in haha. my 1000th Fiji match, nothing too special... led the charge up the middle of the map, enemy CV kept harassing me, dropping torps on me 4 times and dive bombs another 4 times: https://replayswows.com/replay/11851#stats even with the smoke nerfs, Fiji is certainly still be best ship of it's tier, period. and with such a powerful ship, I've had more than a few highlights, these are still my favorites: I look forward to inflicting my Fiji shenanigans on the red team for another 1000 matches. IMHO none of the rest of the T7 tech tree cruisers are worth keeping although Algire may be a keeper, just don't have enough games in her yet since I am grinding a UK captain right now. I'm nearing the finish line on my grind with her (can't really call it a grind). Not only is the ship well equipped to dole out pain to the enemy, but it's also at the most advantageous tier. Since I have been keeping count, out of 56 tier 7 games I have only been bottom tier 18% of the time. Even when bottom tier, I find it pretty easy to place in the top 5 of my team with her. I am hesitant to call any ship at tier 7 a 'seal clubber'. But Fiji is a seal clubber! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

It clubs all right.... especially DDs, you catch them at close range and a Fletcher or Yugumo will disappear in 3 good salvos. Once I finish the RN cruiser grind she is back in my port. I said on a previous post that "Fiji is love" and I mean it.
