MM is probably broken

I think MM is broken the reason that I say this is cause there are way way too many torpedo firing ships and players of that class of ships they are out numbering everyone in my opinon 30 to 1 in every match I just want to see a better MM for this game I think this would be a ok match making like 3 to 5 DDs and 4 crusiers for each side with the rest be BBs and CVs that way there be a fighting chance with BB players like myself cause how am I supposed to get better if I am getting hit constantly by torpedos every match I just want to see a better MM and more balance game play that's all I would like to see that's all .

 

P.S. to the idiots in QNA that think that I am lying about me being a beta tester and saying I didn't do anything look at my CBT tag [edited]'s god I hate stat Nazi players all they do is care about stats and bully others on their stats and make other players quit the game smdh

Reminds me of the BB player last night who raged at the cruisers because we couldn't stop him from being torped by dds as he goes broadside to 3 of them smoked up on a single point. He also bloated his 51% win rate to 74% so he "knew what he was talking about."

Well, in all fairness, you played 2 (two) Coop battles in Beta, and that's it. So ...

Ok I'll take a stab at a genuine response, god help me.  Try playing DDs for a while if you mainly BB; it will (should) provide a highly valuable perspective and insight which will in turn promote BB survival.  Might even get you through a match or two without taking a torp at all.

Or it may just generate additional threads of a like nature from another angle...

In any case, improving means not focusing on a single ship class.  If you do not diversify you will remain frustrated.

Just a guess.... The same limitation that is keeping the OP from using proper spelling, grammar and punctuation—or even exercising the self-discipline and self-respect to take a few seconds to proofread before hitting the submit button—is likely the same limitation that is causing him to blame the MM for his difficulties.

My suggestion OP.  Take time to raise the quality of what you produce, both in every step you take and every word you speak.  Respect yourself enough to produce quality in all that you do and you will be surprised how much more control you will have ever what you currently believe are external forces that are broken.

well the point I am saying is I did a lot more than just co op that's all I am saying and further I would of did more but I had to stop playing due to health reasons and a family situation that called me away for a while

My friend, this is the same rant you had in April except now it's 30 to 1 and back then it was 20 to 1.  Maybe you should take some personal time and deal with those other issues.  We'd all like to see you participating and having fun when you're feeling better.

Judging by your stats in your battleships you seem to have issues with damage due to poor accuracy and bad survival rates. That's not that unexpected with such a small number of games played, around 250, so don't be frustrated.

 

I recommend starting off by working on 1 area at a time, and all areas will see slight improvement as your focused area raises more rapidly.

Your biggest issue, and the most enjoyable one to fix is likely accuracy. With practice and a little understanding you'll be able to raise that to around 28-30% in your battleships and see a large increase in average damage and a smaller raise in survival rate as you dispatch people hunting you.

The easiest place to find a quick bit of info is on IChaseGaming's YouTube Channel under the Playlist Captain's academy. I'd watch aiming for both static and dynamic and practice with each to find what you like best.

 

For DDs specifically they are at the zenith against BBs at Tiers 2-4. As they become tougher to play and torpedoes are launched from father and farther away they are easier to dodge. The best advice is to understand where a DD might be, especially if you're spotted and not being fired upon, and adjusting angle and speed to completely throw off the torpedoes. 

Also make sure you turn IN to torpedoes and not away. This will minimize damage and you can even cut speed to turn faster.

thanks ive been working on it but lately real life issues due play a part on this since I can't play as much like I used to

second I want to thank you for not trolling me all I see in the responses so far are trolls and not one ounce of understanding or the fact no one likes to have a simple debate on this issue all everyone wants to do is troll instead of talking about it

third I have been trying to limit the hits but as soon as I face forward towards the torpedos then another DD or cruiser fires there right next to me and come out of no where and I end up dead I just wish WG fix the MM to where it will limit how many torpedo firing ships in each match if they can fix the arty issue in WOT I'm sure they can fix this issue and yes I have tried to play other ships  DD's Crusiers as well but I just can't seem to survive long enough let alone properly fire my own torpedos and it gets frustrating to say the least I just want to see a balanced MM where there will be a balanced matches where the topedo firng ships don't alaway rule the eatch match.
