Loot garbage / 35% tier 8 off sale

From what players write, current Christmas loot boxes mostly contain garbage. I was going to get 20x Mega boxes, but warned about content I have purchased smaller 5x Mega.  Everything I got were flags.

But not everything is so bad. taking advantage of ship sale and gold sale when paid with credit card it is possible to get tier VIII ships for about 35% off effectively.

28,750 gold can be bought for $100.12. That's over 287 gold for $1.

Alabama right now is available in game for 10,370 gold. That's $36.13 with gold purchased on sale.

Enterprise is for 11,900. That's $41.46. Regular in shop price for this carrier was over $65.

I think that right now it's best to grab tier VIII ships taking advantage of the double sale. Lower tiers have even better discounts. Gold discount when purchased with credit card ends tonight.
