... that you can have a higher chance of getting free port slots out of the credit containers as opposed to the other containers?  I get bundles of 4 captain reserve spots every now and then but never port slots and I always choose the flags containers. Never got a port slot from any container but I could use a few port slots and wouldn't mind doing the credit containers for awhile if the chances are elevated.  Just looking for confirmation beforehand.  Thanks.

This is only anecdotal evidence but all of my free port slots (three or four at last count) have come from selecting "credit" containers.

I exclusively chose credit containers for at least a month and don't remember ever getting a port slot.

For me, have gotten port slots out of credit containers and TYL, seem to get roster slots from consumables (another 4 roster slots two days ago)

Got 1 from a credit container last night.  This is the third one I've gotten from a credit container, and I don't often choose credits (and usually not on purpose).

I have never gotten a port slot in flags (which I choose nearly 100% of the time), only a bizillion bunks in the captain's quarters.  Could throw a HUGE party down there...

I got a port slot recently and I usually get the Signals option.

However, It is just possible that it was Credits.

In total, I think I have only received 1 (might be 2) port slot vs a large number of reserve slots.
