Which Santa Box Pack is the best buy?

I wasn't around when the last Santa boxes dropped but have heard about all the great and awesome stuff people of gotten out of them. (I.e., Nikolais, Kamikazes, etc).

Since the Santa boxes have dropped today and people have already bought some and opened them, I'm just wondering which pack is the "best buy" for my moneys worth.

 

Edit: I'm mainly looking for the best pack that has a higher chance of premium ships and doubloons. Camos and signals don't interest my currently.

In terms of cash discount, the x20 packages. Beyond that, it depends on what you're looking for in the packages.

Unknown at the moment, both $3 and $5 boxes have good premium ship chances, but there's not a lot of info for $1 boxes yet. I'm still working on that science.

I think he's saying "0 for 20" for finding ships in the $1 boxes.

I found groups of 5 gave the best results.  Didn't get so many duplicate ships.

Folks getting 10 Emdens.... yikes!

This is why one should NEVER sell a premium ship, because it usually gives what you don't have.

Just purchased 10 crates.

5 x $5.

5 x $3.

Pulled down the obligatory camo, flags, and a little gold.  Received the Alabama and Gallant in the $5. crates, so all-in-all, not a bad haul.

Purchasesd 5 each of the mega and the BIG..

got a gallant and 2 boxes with 2000 gold each..some Camo in the mega..

ohotonilk. And 2boxes with 1000gold each and camos in the BIG boxes...

remember that this stuff has ZERO real value
