Surviving the new scenario

Using time from the test server, the following may be helpful surviving and winning the new scenario in 6.15:

• Fully spec your BB or CA for AA, target incoming aircraft,
• Utilize a CA or BB with torpedo's,
• The assault ships will outrun your fleet, keeping a ship in front of the lead assault ship will slow the group down,
• Having a CV is very useful,
• Splitting the fleet for both left and right into the final harbor is helpful since the ships unloading troops do it on both side with the repair ship taking the middle,
• take out the 2 enemy CV's as soon as practical (where a CV is useful),
• The Missouri that spawns in the first harbor will ram the transport ships, BB's and Ca's with torps are very useful here,
• Protect the assault ships at all cost,
• Once inside the final harbor, prepare for another onslaught.

A good DD driver is very useful but rarely do they survive to make a true full impact and I never see one survive the entire match.  Once th bots avoid the torpedo's, the main guns aren't effective enough to make an impact on overall game performance.

Did it in Yorck. Same signals as I use in Random, no premium consumables, no information other than the official news article, no friendly CV, no division -5 stars, Sea Star, and second on XP.

and IF you have a cv on your side, target the strong AA red forts and ships first, including that middle fort in the center of the harbor.  And don't forget about the Cleveland, Atlanta and Missouri too.
