Hello my dear friends from the NA server, I have been playing for 2 weeks now and want to praise you.

I have surely now 6500 games on the EU server behind me and I think I can now make a pretty good comparison of how the comunitys differ.

I find here there is more communication and teamplay and also friendliness between the players, of course there are certainly exceptions, but what I have experienced until now I find really remarkable in the comparison with the EU server.

I'm CV Main (on NA) and have been praised in almost every game when I've helped my fellow players with fighters, scouting of DDs or important kills, or I've been told more than once that their ships are on AA build and they can help me with the opposing fighters.

Even when i made a not so good game, the people here have always been very gracious with me, if you have a bad day as CV on the EU server, you will be directly overflowing with haem and downvotings, this is thank God not the case here and I spend more time on the NA now than on the EU server because of your community at the moment.

So my dear fellow players you should see the situation here I think less critical because I had the direct comparison and it is clearly positive for you.

I'm looking forward to a great and exciting ranked season and I'm looking forward to playing it here for the first time.

My English is not so good, I hope I didn't [edited] your language too much. :Smile_facepalm:

greetings and nice holidays. :Smile_bajan2:

x3, you did just fine with the language.

Regarding CV's, a word of warning.  As a CV main, perhaps you've already experienced this on the EU server, if not here, but there are always players who will complain about their team's CV not doing this or that.  A week or so ago, a unicum player named   @Iris_ posted a game where she (he?) did nearly 300k damage and yet there was still some player on her team who complained that she was a bad CV player, IIRC, because she didn't happen to protect his ship from the enemy CV.  Some players just don't understand or accept that no carrier can be everywhere and do everything all at the same time, so heaven forbid if you're not in the right place at the right time to protect their ship.   Some non-CV players have the attitude that the only job of a carrier is to protect their ships or at least the ships of their team and spotting DDs, while other players care more that their CV player is doing lots of damage and getting kills.  Just do the best you can and let your results speak for themselves.  The more savvy players will recognize whether their CV player had a good game for the team or not.

Yes, you have hit some real points. the main problem is that many non-CV players are not able to put themselves in the CV players perspective because they have never had the experience that you sometimes also need you fighters for self-protection.
Cv gameplay is quite challanging and most of the people think its just point and klick. :cap_rambo:

Welcome! The only downside for an European (me included) is that I can’t play clanwars because of the time difference.

I am always amused when people put "sorry about my English" when I can't tell they are a non-native speaker.

Which is also impressive since I've lived abroad and worked with many non-native English speakers/writers, so I have a pretty fine tuned sense for that.

This, I want matches like what you describe because even getting just short of a clear sky with the single Lex fighter and 160k damage (without use of manual drop or limited at best) and still getting crap when their DD's were dead in 3 minutes and the enemy CV a non-factor, they simply couldn't kill the BB's or cruisers. It gets worse with the ones ranting "they play CV's" and only have tier 4-5 CV's where they usually see basically no AA and strafe is no longer a thing.

Eitherway, good to have another CV player on the server (really been lacking in fresh blood in that group) and to know we, surprisingly, aren't as toxic as EU. Though, in another game I play on EU servers now I have seen some toxicity get pretty ugly. Also, your English is fine, honestly better than some native English speakers.

Hi, and welcome to the NA server.

And thanks for being a good carrier driver - it is a skill that I've never developed...

Welcome aboard!

Nice to see your comments. I do not particularly like CVs (am a DD main) but I understand how tough it is and I can tell good CV players from the first few moves they make. As you know, a good CV player can win battles for the team. Be the good one!

cv game play is harder than any other class, i was getting verbals from my team cause the enemy unicum was just hammering me, seemingly it was my fault our ships were spread across the map and enemy team was sailing in an actual battleline line with cruiser screen and all lol.

i maintain 90% of the time a cv can be rendered useless at high tier by cruisers escorting bbs and dds not going rambo.

in my experience i find high tier cv play nasty lol

Hello and welcome 3cenium!

I have also escaped that Eu server hostile attitude. Here there are a lot less that kind of toxic attitude and most of it is located in high tier battles.

I've hated CV mains since closed beta. I won't treat you EU people any differently. Let me grab my Hindenburg and Des Moines. :Smile_honoring:

I agree CV players get a lot of hate, and 300k is a lot of damage. However, I have seen many CV's not protecting allied ships at all. I have played in numerous games where the enemy CV is striking me, 2 or 3, some times more and I get no coverage from our CV. That in itself is annoying, but I can somewhat understand if the allied CV is protecting their strike planes, but there is no excuse when the enemy CV is bringing strike and fighters to you 3 times in a match.

I see a lot crying (maybe that not the case, sometimes its have bad cvs with dont care for his teans, but i'm just gonna comment this here) "cv fighter plox" from people distant from main fleet...

A cv player need focus in defender the main fleet and the important ships, a bb sniping? Nah, a dd trying chase the cv? Nah.

People need understand fighters dont teleport and have a limited ammo, and if you are not near to fleet or in a good position its just not worth go defend you.
