That's a new one.  I'd say no way that's not deliberate... but the way potato group up nowadays, almost like some butt [edited]dog pile, it could've been a single errant salvo if torps taking out 4 mouth breathers.

Shame the quality of the playerbase has deteriorated so much I can't definitively say that was a deliberate griefer.

I think the more eyebrow raising part about this match is the complete lack of any BB's in it...

I can't say that I've seen anything that bad before.  I will say that I was in a battle about a month or so ago where some pink player went around shooting at team mates, and definitely NOT by accident.  He just didn't give a damn.

Personally, I think that the TK system needs some work.  Here are some thoughts.

1. Perhaps, you get a short and IMMEDIATE suspension if you get 2 TK's in a single game.  Immediate as in, you're booted from the game for an hour right then and there.  Last I knew, something like this was used in WoT if you TK'd enough friendlies (2 or 3) in a single battle.

2. Remove friendly DoT damage.  It's bad enough when you accidentally hit a friendly and cause a fire or flood.  But friendlies shouldn't be allowed to not repair those DoT just to punish a team mate's accidents.  Just remove friendly DoT damage and this is no longer an issue.

3. Remove friendly ramming damage, at least for pinks.  It's wrong for friendly non-pink players to intentionally ram pinks just to punish them.  But also, some pink players will get become so afraid of accidentally running into friendlies and taking/causing minor ram  damage which will slow them from removing their pink status that they will become far too cautious in the maneuvering.  IMO, a small amount of friendly ramming is just the cost of doing business in a game like this.  This isn't the Navy and teams don't move in careful formations to avoid  accidental collisions.

4. I would like to see something done that helps with the situation where a team mate who isn't watching where they're going drives up close to your ship, and either gets between you and your target, or on the other side and places you between them and their  target.  And the net result is that one of you ends up  accidentally shooting the other because you just can't see the other because you're zoomed in.  I'm not interested in hearing that I should zoom out after every shot.  Doing that makes me physically ill with the constant yo-yoing of the screen.  But how about a system where if you have a friendly within 1-3 km who is blocking your line of fire, you're prevented from firing your weapons and possible a line of text or some icon is displayed on the screen that indicates that your line of fire is blocked by a friendly.

Spread of Deep Water torps into a group of low health camping BBs.

Care to share the details?  Or did it happen on the other side of the map?

..

I'd bet the damage numbers were at 'Co-Op' level on the other side.

Good point.  I hadn't noticed that.  Dang, that's a rarity!

This kind of players need a ban. Permanent ban. Based on IP not e-mailadress

Dude; you blame BB’s even when there was not even one in that match? Next time just see the picture before you say something like that :’)

Well, they were just one short of a Kraken............

I think Jingles posted one where someone got 4 or 5 TK's.  Then went into 'all' chat and started posting the location of the green players so the reds knew where they were.  Yeah, there are some major league jerks in this game at times.

I thought TK damage was traded equally for your own damage?

Unless he/she killed 4 teammates that were woefully low on health, I'm not sure how this is possible.

How can you sink four teammates in a DD that only has a bit over 10k hitpoints without having all that damage reflected and sinking you instead? It must have been his first team kill in a while and he wasn't yet pink.

Edit: I suppose that you could do it by sending all your torps into an area where four of your team were clustered up and thus killing them all at once.

Thats gotta be torps into a pack of teammates. Damage is reflected but I'm pretty sure flooding will still effect the target even when the damage is reflected. Also, could one of the kills possibly be himself from the reflected damage?

Thank you for pointing that out.

You will see that interacting in the forums will have positive results.

So happy you are so filled with joy and celebration this fine holiday season.  Merry Christmas.

Seriously, after 2 TKs in one game you have to consider them him out.

And before you go all "you can't retaliate" (I do not as a rule) on me; in egregious instances, such as this, there should be an achievement issued to the one that puts an end to the madness.

This game must be out of time and space, no BB's, 2 CVs and only 2 DD's, wth version of WOWs is this?!

Also, after the 2nd TK someone should have killed him.

Also, please tell me again why we take FF damage, instead of all FF damage being reflected back?

I suspect it really was a single drop that got multiple ships. Most cruisers in that MM take >40% damage per torpedo,so if he hit some with repairs on CD and/or low health he could easily have picked up 4 kills from one bad drop.

Other side of the map.  I saw some chat about a TK, but didn't realize it was FOUR until the end screen came up.  Another first for me was a red member came up in all chat and requested reporting our player; I don't recall a red doing that before.

Funny thing is the TK seemed to bring some kind of camaraderie between the green and the reds.  The reds didn't want to win that way, and expressed their condolences in chat.  Kind of like the real world where all sailors of all nationalities recognize the sea itself is the common enemy, and attempt to render aid to all those at its mercy.  The metaphor here is the TK for the common enemy, and the aid being the condolences in chat.

As an aside, that was the first T7 match I can recall without a BB.  Kinda strange driving an Atlanta around without fear of an instant delete.  Took the middle cap without a shot fired.

I was in a battle once where I was the ONLY BB...

That is..  Until the Shokaku deleted my Colorado.  Between the 5 enemy DDs, the IJN carrier, and my YOLOing team leaving me stranded at the Standard cap..  I didn't live long.

After that, it was a no BB match.  Condolence were not offered.

For your opponents, with no Battleships, it was going to be a low-damage mission anyway.  The loss of 1/3 of your team further brought that home.  Tragic waste of camo, consumables, and flags.

Oh, and in the end, it was me versus eight.  I wasn't going down without a fight.  Not a charge 'em yolo fight.  A smart fight.  They were surprisingly spread out at the end and I had good cover...and used it to limit firing arcs while I took on reasonable numbers.  My final skirmish was a CA and a DD.  Almost...ALMOST...got the Sims at the end...just one more salvo would have finished him.

I see red's calling out another red for reports pretty frequently, actually.

I remember back at launch when "bar room brawls" would break out where someone would shoot someone and it would drag other people in until half the team was dead.
