This might be the first time I agree with you Puli, as I just came from replying to him (OP) in my Det thread about 1 minute ago.  Apparently he has a real problem getting detonated in the Des.  Like a LOT.  Instead of taking a moment to understand the Det mechanics, it is far easier to blame some deep rooted Russian scheme than that is somehow bilking him out of.  Well not sure what he is losing.  But as many times as he has been detonated he has to have a TON of flags he could be using to stop it.   Pretty sure he is convinced some WG Vice Pres is sitting around taking personal amusement every time he gets detonated.  Perhaps even manipulating the game to ensure he detonates more than most.  lol.   Almost wondering if he isn't confusing detonations with dev strikes.

Random is random.  Also, when firing explosive shells into other things containing explosive things, random stuff happens.   And then you get (un)lucky.

Haha, yeah.  I'm sure it's corruption.  They have profited handsomely from this underhanded deal, I assure you.  If you only knew how much money they rake in every time your Des Moines detonates it would make your head spin.

Let's start with the fact that he included a NY Times article as validation for his detonations.  A liberal media outlet that has been ringing the "Russian hacker" bell for waaaay too long as reason that their criminal candidate didn't win.   Now how the Kapersky thing has ANYTHING to do with detonations in a video game?  No idea how that connects.  But there is some serious butt hurt going on here...  Like way beyond just some salve or ointment butt hurt.

Connection to detonation is that I wouldn't put anything past a Russian tech company.  So while the reason the the consecutive detonations is probably WG upping the overall detonation % in order to screw everyone out of credits it wouldn't surprise me if they targeted players who posted  negative comments about the company.  Russians have a reputation for being paranoid and vindictive.

After reading this I think I am going to invest heavily in Aluminum..as it is going to take a lot to equip you with hats.  

I voted for Trump as well...and I don't trust anyone.  Not even supposed allies.

Why would WG want to screw you out of credits?  How does this benefit them?  Do you really think that there is some person that monitors posts here, then goes and programs the games on the server side to negatively impact your game play?  Do you have any idea how much personal bandwidth that would consume to monitor these forums, the Reddit topics, the Facebook page, and anyplace else that people might talk about the game and THEN go rig the game against those people?  You would need an army of geeks to do that.  For what?  To bilk you out of something you earn for free in the game?

I have been playing this game since open Beta..  So a couple of years now.  Given that length of time and some very lively discussions during that time.  My post count shouldn't be a surprise.  I play this game, and post on the forums, during my time off of work if I am not occupied with other things.  I hardly live and breathe this game. 

I am not a harsh critic of your post because you are making negative comments against WG.  I could care less about that.  I have been critical of WG on many occasions in those many posts you commented on.   I am simply flabbergasted that someone could be as paranoid as you are and literally believe that a game would be rigged against you in some manner.  Not just rigged, but rigged against you PERSONALLY..  Like it is some big conspiracy.    I know people like you.  You are one step away from a bunker in the desert and the ATF "knocking" on your door...  Guess what?  The gub'ment doesn't care about you or your emails.  The Russians aren't sitting in the Kremlin discussing how they can ruin your gaming experience.  You,  and I, literally do not matter in any aspect of anything any government is doing..  Unless we don't pay our taxes.  Then the gub'ment will know who you are.

I'm voting bad luck.  While I do think that detonations is an incredibly stupid mechanic, if you are getting detonated as many times as indicated, then perhaps you should alter the play style in that ship.  Detonation flags are great and all, but you only get 10 in each 24 hr period, and that only stops you from detonating in 10 games.  Then, back to detonating if you continue getting shot the way you are. 

WG is not doing anything to your ship.  I play the Des Moines a bit myself.  I don't even run the det flags on it unless in clan battles, and haven't had an issue, although I haven't played it lately.  Maybe...just maybe... Putin has issued a directive in the recent days.  I may have to check it out.

BTW, I detonated a couple of times in recent games while in a T9 German BB, so I guess Russia is against Germany too.
