@QuinntheEskimo (for want of a better title and it will make sense later on)

A WOWS Parody of "The Mighty Quinn" by Bob Dylan

If you are one of the three people in the world who have never heard the song:

Wargaming keeps a-building them there ships that virtually float
Some are them are kinda "meh"
But most are rather gudbotes
Still a few cry in despair
Cause they want better a new toy
So when a new warship gets here
All them players run and jump for joy

They say,

"Come join us and shout, come join us and win
Cause if you don't you'll be on the losing team
Red's gonna pout, and Green's gonna grin
You ain't seen nothin' like our brand-new ship"

Now you don't have to be just like the rest
Cause lots of ships you will see
Four different types of them
From several different countries
And the forumers they be talkin 'bout
Reading @Pigeon_of_War's latest post
And if he actually quotes them there
Well them posters surely  gonna boast

     They be a-sayin'

"Look, see what he wrote, his post I am in!
I'm gonna print it out and and stick it with a pin
To my bedroom wall, I'll invite all my friends
They'll come and envy me and I'll wear a great big grin"

There's a @BrushWolf a-howlin at my door
And a @LittleWhiteMouse in the hall
But my @Ghostdog1355 he's a nappin'
And he never comes when I call
I can't never get no sleep
When my @Pulicat's bitin' my toes
But when @quinntheeskimo gets here
All them varmints gonna let me doze

Bout lyric'd out now so....

Come all without, come all within
You'll not see nothing like the mighty Quinn
Come all without, come all within
You'll not see nothing like the mighty Quinn

How dare you mock one of my favorite songs !    Joking about mocking the song but it is one of my favorites . Thank you for the Grateful Dead version as I have not heard it before . Still like the original better tho .

Parody's of songs are not necessarily meant to mock, most are more of a tribute to the original. Take Weird Al's parodies for example. Weird Al is such a good singer and his band is full of such good musicians that almost all the singers that he has parodied love his work. One even said that if Weird Al had not parodied hs song and made it famous that he would never have won a Grammy.

-1 for referencing the wrong version of the song.

Corrected.

The Grateful Dead are never the wrong version.

Dylan did record the song in 1967, and it was eventually released, but I can't find it on YT.

Of those available, I'm partial to this Christmas version:
