Currently using Razer Kraken v2 headset and on-board audio (Realtek ALC 889 on an MSI X58 Pro-e).

Upgrading to a Beyerdynamic Custom Studio (80 ohm) headphones and FX Audio DAC-X6 external DAC/amp.  Should arrive before the weekend.  Holding off on a boom-microphone for now.

I have some very nice M-Audio Revolution 7.1 sound cards, but this integrated audio is pretty darn good
