Has anybody checked win/survivability rates since the "fix"

Title says it all.

Since the CV change a version or two ago, has anybody checked the win and survivability rates of American CVs?

Personally, my win rate has dropped overall from 48% down to 47%, and that's after about 15 games.  Right now, I'm winning, maybe 2 in 5, so I expect my overall rate will continue to drop.

On the plus side, I've sunk more ships (4) in the few days I've been playing, but I'm loosing more matches and getting sunk more often.

Personally, I prefer the specialist load-outs... at least I could be good in the Air Superiority mode.

The new load-outs, while "general purpose" don't seem to help me all that much. I still think the large versus small squadron size is a detriment to the US CVs.

For the last two weeks, the winrates for the Midway, Indy, Bogue, and Langley are all above 50%, which is better than historical. For the Ranger, Lex, and Essex nothing seems to have changed. They are still all below 50% in roughly the same places.

The only one I find odd on that list is Inde - other than maybe I think she has access to some better DB's now she didn't really change and well, it's the one CV I never really had issue with.

Interesting.. I'm working on my Independence at the moment.  I find it curious... American have 1 and only 1 load-out. I just finished a game against a Ryujo, and it looked like it was an AS loadout. I looked on Wargaming wiki, and sure 'nough, that ship has 3 different load-outs available to it. Needless to say, I had my ______ handed to me.

Really fair Wargaming, you shackle American CVs to 1 load-out, but let Japanese have multiple.... Really fair.

Indy is kind of a sore subject for me right now. The better I do the quicker my team melts.

That is me and Lex right now and why I stopped playing it for the time being. I'm dealing up to 168k right now, with almost no manual TB drops and half or more of the damage done with her, as some would say "useless" or "too inconsistent" to be a primary damage source, HE DB's, but can't get a win even if the other carrier is basically a non-factor. Hell, I can't tell you how many teams I've seen the last week because the carrier ends up AFK the whole match (once was me because it loaded, crashed, and the game was over by the time I got back in) or destroyed earlier and still the team that has basically been CV-less has won.

I feel you with Lexington/enterprise too. I dislike playing on t8 with anything other than hipper and even then it is my trolling nature to let people shoot at me long enough that they keep themselves spotted so my team does more damage than they do to me.

I don't believe Enterprise is that bad at all. Her torp drop is wonky, but she also puts 10 hard hitting fish in the water instead of the 6 on Lex or 8 weaker ones on Shokaku. But her problem is the exact same problem as all the other high tier USN CVs since the change: The AP bombs, heralded as the main damage source for the USN line, is absurdly bad against the vast majority of targets it comes up against, while being really devastating against a select few. AP bombs need to be more consistent, and that means dropping it's fuse armor thickness as well as it's max penetration. If they need to drop the alpha damage to balance it, so be it. But it should be able to citadel more than just mid tier german BBs as well as some tier 10 cruisers. It's a really bad weapon right now.

Lexington is just bad because it's just the AP bomb problem amplified due to fully half it's planes being devoted to them. On top of that, it has an absolutely stupidly bad concealment, which is something like five or six kilometers higher than Shokaku for some inane reason. And that doesn't help it at all as USN planes are SLLOOOOOW.

The USN line needs a lot of work. A whole lot. The USN CV change was just that ... a change. It didn't really buff them (except for Midway which got a HUGE damage buff), but just made them 'easier' to play while not addressing some of the major core concerns about USN CVs: unreliable damage, lack of map control, worse concealment, worse protection on the carrier itself, much worse loading times, slower planes, etc ... the list goes on and on.

Langley wasn't really touched, but from Tier V on, they all were by the revamp.

Bogue is now on par with Zuiho which is a big deal considering Bogue had historically been absolutely crushed by Zuiho.

Midway has surpassed Hakuryu at Tier X.

Ranger, Lexington, Essex are still s--t.
