Vast empty Ocean

So I had a match on Ocean today... it pops up once a month or so, which is a nice change of pace.

 

Anyway, my first thought when seeing the map was a song... "Nowhere to run" by Martha and the Vandellas.   So very appropriate

Ocean is such a joy these days... it really tests your skills (imho). 

Have you found a favorite in that new line of ships you scored not too long ago?

I dont believe Ocean is in the game anymore, haven't been there in ages. Best map in the game and they hide it.

Aye, it is refreshing to see now and again.  No camping on that map ;)

 

As for my new toys, I don't have many games in her yet, but I'm partial to Alabama.... and Enterprise (havent played 1 game in it though).  I like looking at them in port... such beautiful models :)

I still see the Ocean map occasionally but it's very rare. I think I played on it once sometime in the past month. I remember it because my team quite well that game.

No sir, they still have it. They hide it at Tier 10, even at that it's most likely a less than 1% chance of it actually picking this map. (Hell, If they just replaced Tears of the Desert Epicenter with this... I'd be one happy camper)

Here's proof of it recently (December 5th). it's just always a fast slug fest.  

 

Disclaimer: This replay isn't a brag thing, I did pretty mediocre in this. but it was still a blast.

Lol, they could call it "Tears of the Ocean"... epicenter on Ocean would be a riot... not enough salt on earth if they did that...

So they put it at T10, great, I never going to see it in the short/medium run.

Of all the decision of WG in this game, this is the one that really grinds my teeth.
