Ship weary

Except for a few months between the last beta weekend in 2014 and the start of CBT I've been playing A LOT. Then add in ST and on the TS I'm closing in on 6000 battles. I think I'm going to step away for the most part for a bit.

 

Granted I will likely pop in to help my clan in CW when I'm needed. Probably also going to finish the Vampire missions since I'm over 3/4th of the way and when Roma shows up I plan to buy her(be my last purchase in ships for a long while unless Wichita shows up) and run around for a bit with her.

 

Cause besides being on the burnt out stage, WG's redo of planes is damn good. REALLY GOOD. So much I dropped some cash to increase my hangar space and I actually plan to grind out tier 5s in each line to really test it out. But they fixed a lot from alpha testing(which I did) and a good majority of the issues I had with WT.

 

Not to take away from ships but if you haven't, go check out planes, lot better.

 

So except for here and there my fleet is taking a well deserved break while my squadron is shaking off the rust and taking to the skies.

Thats what I have done. I jump in a few games a month and keep up with things.  I spend most of my time with Tanks since that is new to me.

There is something about these Internet based games.  I'm a recent player, so it's still a little new.

The second WOWS account has really opened my eyes to how much I've forgotten when the journey had just begun here.

I’m taking a leave of absence also, just passed 6000 games and feeling a little burnt out with fun factor loss

have 6 -19 point Captains from mid tier to X and have found I like playing certain ships mid tier the most with the fun factor being my big motivator with less on win loose rates unfortunately MM has made playing mid tier a lot less fun for me when facing ships 2 tiers higher as often as we do

I am slowing down my grind once I get HIV and z46. (both about 20k to go)    lion can be a slow train to conq.    I need credits anyway  so I will play mostly premium after that for fun and to help mates grind their line.

Taking time off removed a lot of the stress and frustration.  I honestly think that's Notser's problem.  He's basically tied to the game and can't step away.  That's why even if I WAS good enough to make money off a game, I'd never want to.  I want to enjoy my hobbies, not view them as work.

 

EDIT:  Speaking of planes, is there a way to get it working without the new game center thing?  I'm working around that issue (do not want the game center thing) but it's a very in-elegant solution.  if there's another way, I'm interested.
