Ship crew?

I just wanted to know how the crew will be represented into this game? because there are hundreds. I was also hoping that for your ships when you choose the name for it you could name your captain. That is ofc if the captian is gonig to part of crew. also even if their is a crew. But if there isnt crew would be cool if you could buy like crew for the ship to give you bonuses.

Well from what I know there will only be major officers represented. Captain, Gunnery Officer, and Head engineer are some that I've heard. You wont have like 1000 crew on your panel. It'll be like WOT. Major ones will be represented.

And you will have about 9 or 10 of these major officers located in different parts of the ship, and not all (if any) in the bridge.
