Been there all too often... always a bad game when you win, always a good one when you lose

What makes matches like that hurt even more is the next match was this rather meh match.

That was still over 400k credits into the bank which I need desperately.

It's painful when you lose a game like that (see pic).

But the game I the other day was even worse. We had 3 BBs and a CA to one enemy DD. But they were way ahead on points and time was running out. If he had been smart, he would have just run away, but he tried a surprise attack and dodged behind an island. With 10 seconds left, I tried to guess when I thought he would pop out the other side and fired. Sure enough, he popped out, but all my shells fell just short, directly in line with his ship. He had 500 HP. If only one had hit, we would have won. Instead, he got a solo warrior and the victory. That was a 150k damage game, too.
