Destroyers are the only decent looking modern warships(well, most of them, those Zumwalts are pretty ugly), everything else looks goofy, I think. (That is an Arleigh Burke-class DDG, right?)

Well, carriers look alright too, but it's kinda hard to make an ugly flat top(though I don't doubt that it's possible and/or exists).

Nope. I googled the two names (google-fu ftw), Hermes brought up that image as the first result, lol.

No cookie for you! Ruby gets to have it!

The picture is actually HMS Hermes.

I kid, a good guess though. The two do actually look similar.

HMS Hermes:

HMS Eagle:

300px-09_HMS_Eagle_Mediterranean_Jan1970

I can see the resemblance quite well.

A quick word to our contestants, we've had to readjust the scores according to our judges rulings. Incendiary Tanker was wrong, Aethervox was right.

However, neither of you phrased your answer as a question. You both lose.

Getting a little "damp" below decks.

My Dad served on the USS Cone in the mid to late '60s. His berthing space was in the hanger for the (QH-60) DASH drone (the square box in the rear behind the second stack). He told me that in moderate to heavy seas with the hanger door closed, they would get 8-12" of water sloshing around the deck inside the hanger. Couldn't keep anything on the deck or it would float off somewhere. I think todays ships are a little more water tight :)

I already ate my cookie, Alex, haha, too late. It might have been 'dark side' but it still tasted good (it was the 'dark' chocolate).

Found here. Thought you guys might like it.

We need a bit more water to wash the deck.

Side note, I love how everyone is just lining up to watch the warship go by.  This also reminds me of a book I read about various stresses which are put upon a hull as it goes though the water.

Still can't deny that the modern Eagle still does look similar.

I'm talking about modern warships, not the ships from the era this game includes. Warships from the early 20th century look beautiful in my opinon. Not only do they look powerful, but also like an artist was behind the design and not just an engineer.

Ah. I'm basically the same.

Although there are some early 20ths that I just don't like the look of.
