Does anybody have any pics of the new cruisers? Dallas, Seattle specifically

I'm assuming that they're not completely invented by WG, and that they are based of some sort of plans

I just want to point out that virtually nothing is "completely invented" by WarGaming. Even things which are basically invented by them, like the t4 Phoenix, the invention is less than most people realize.

There are no pictures released apart from what was shown in the presentation at Lex

Those are... yep... they're finally getting endgame ship torpedoes...
oh god

Not so fast. That is an older picture of the Buffalo from when the split was 1st announced and was based off the design that has been floating around since the game's origins. The newest one that was shown on the Dev blog like 2 weeks ago had the torps removed as the torp port/slot was blocked off. Looks like no torps will be added to it.

Thanks for correcting the misinformation from old documents, and so continues the saga of the US Cruisers just getting whacked with a short stick when it comes to Torpedos

Well, in defense of WG the US actually stopped using torps on Cruisers early in WW2. They were considered a risk (ie; get hit and explode) and they shifted doctrine to Cruisers being support ships with big guns. So it isn't so much WG taking them off as much as they never had them IRL, or they were removed (seems to me I remember reading that IRL Pensacola had them at one point but they were removed but might be wrong on that???) on the ships represented in the T6+ range. I wish they had them myself. I think it is a big "IN GAME" handicap for them.

Yeah, Pepsi did have torps that were removed in 1941. Seeing as it's being brought down to tier 6 it's possible we might see them again as part of her rebalancing. My thinking is that they might do something similar to the Nurnberg: including them on the stock ship in exchange and then deleting them once you get an upgraded hull with better all-around stats. Would certainly make a smoother transition from the Omaha to the rest of the CA line.
