Two things.

1: I'm guilty of this, unfortunately.

2: If you're not going to YOLO-rush, at least be more aggressive. Learn the meaning of PTFO and lemming-train in the direction of the enemy team instead of running away like cowards.

2. Ask for smoke coverage

3. fire away nervously until smoke disappears

4. retreat and repeat again

How to learn CVs

1: Get a CV

2: Fail miserably until tier 6.

3: Learn that you are faster then BBs, get in front of them.

4: Git gud at CVs.

5: Destroy the enemy team while ROFL.

6: Go join a clan that asks you to play DDs.

some of my finest games have been when you have that one player and he complains the entire match until you end up winning it

Had that once in my shoukaku, I got 202k.

I was closer to the enemies than my friendly BBs and was detected a couple of times, lost half my health. Thankfully my island camping gambit worked, and I didn't die.

My team was complaining in chat for half the game about "the suicidal CV." But it worked, and I got a strike in every ~30 seconds.

Hmm... recalling my last battle of yesterday...

 

MM into a T9 game with my Mahan against an Akatsuki, Benson, and Fletcher. Cry a little because I can't out spot any of them

Sail to a cap ready to run away like a b***h if I see the Americans

Lay smoke for a friendly Baltimore because hell, they'll make use of it more then I ever will

Spots T8 Shoukaku's full strike ~ Shoukaku vectors planes towards me instead of the friendly BB ~ panics

Runs into iceberg ~ Nuked - Zero Damage

I know them feels; Three, wins... THREE lousey wins to start the Guadalcanal mission... Ceasar, five games, 2-3 TOP SCORER... all losses. Wyoming, same thing, all losses, Warspite, same, one game even 144k damage, all losses.

 

Get out Langley with Air Supremacy; three wins, (FINALLY!!!) and one loss... Nineteen freeking battles just to get three stinking wins... Can't believe I had to go clubbing just to do so; (and it wasn't actually that easy, some of the other CV players were dang good.)

 

For me;

 

1: Get tired of being killed by destroyer and cruiser torpedoes in St Louis and South Carolina.

2: Start sinking the little underaged ship trolls with regularity and relative ease.

3: Watch other players; even in much, MUCH higher tier regularly get trolled by destroyers and cruisers, who then get stomped when they try to rince and repeat with me.

4: Wonder in bewilderment if perhaps I am one of the few who learned how to sink such gnats in lower tiers.

5: Rage as yet another game goes down the drain because it seems many players can't seem to deal with said vermin.

I think your first mistake was by sailing out in quite possibly one of the worst T4 boats in the game.  That's what I've come to think of American BBs at this point tbh, anyways!

You'd be appalled by the amount of people playing low tier carriers, going around and seal clubbing BBs that have no hope in hell of ever shooting down a plane, much less dodging an auto attack if they're not paying any sort of attention, like they're usually not.
