(Also, is there a way to earn the commemorative flags through battles played? I have over 400, going on 500, battles in Blyskawica, and was wondering if there was a way to get the flag without buying a bundle.)

I don't really know.

I kinda just want to troll CVs with an AA spec Blyskawica. Though the rof + IF HE could be pretty deadly. I think it'd be interesting to play to say the least.

I am working 12 hours today, and then half day tommorow until noon. 

 

after which I will be running around with the wife for her b-day, with festivities in the evening. 

 

Possibly working a full day on sunday as well.

All I care about at the moment is that Sub_Octavian said they will not be doing any more stupid stock hull shenanigans with the IJN after Ashitaka and Musashi come out, and would attempt more diverse setups that aren't bound to stock. If they can guarantee that, and get out some actually competitive final hull Kongou sisters at T5 (Kirishima; mainly just having more AA but otherwise identical secondaries; same concept as Texas vs NY) and T6 (Haruna and Kongou with some minor buffs) as well as Yamashiro at T6 with her full AA (again; same concept as Texas vs NY), I've got the money ready to burn on the Ultimate Bundles. Doubly so if said Premium versions are applied back to the ARP namesakes.

Hence why I said "If they can guarantee that". Though to be fair, they haven't done it for the USN line yet, though we do get close with variants with Kidd and Marblehead that were closer to a(n OBT era) B Hull rather than a repurposed Stock hull that was removed. It would make sense for Maryland though; considering Maryland was a flagship in her original stock or near-stock config, IIRC. Or WV if WG refuses to put her as a T7 Premium or T8 Premium due to balancing issues. New Mex would be kind of pointless to make a Stock Hull Premium out of though.

 

If anything, the 3 Kongou sisters are ripe for T5 and T6, Yamashiro for T6, and could still put a Mutsu or Nagato-class derivative at T7 (either fictional sister-ship maybe swapping out the 127mm DP with 100mm DP OR adding in torpedo launchers like Kii, or renaming T6 Mutsu and transferring the name over to a T7 Mutsu that copies Arizona's focus; better anti-surface in exchange for nearly nonexistent AA).

Having WeeVee as a prem stock Hull Colorado would be quite the disappointment imo.  I'd actually rather have no WeeVee than one based on that old stock hull.

Maybe I need to stop reading these, every time I see an answer to CV questions from Wargaming right now I wanna bang my head on something.

In reference to DD's being targeted. While also bringing up the perma spotting issue not getting resolved. CV's already don't care who they take out, other than 2-3 groups of TB's with the worst DB's makes IJN great at targeting BB's, while USN as it is, is a bit better at hitting DD's because despite similar dispersion they have 2 more planes per group to help in scoring hits, really more cruiser and, unless using a mix set up, in which case they can hurt a BB pretty well too. The problem is WE CAN'T GET THROUGH THE OVERBUFFED AA. If our team doesn't fold inside 5 minutes, a lone ship breaks out of AA overlap, and has taken hits that knockout 30-50% of it's AA guns then yeah, we can go hit that BB/cruiser, but the only targets we have left otherwise, especially early game, are the DD's. And of the 2 lines, IJN is the only one that can effectively use TB's on a DB, and at that it has to be a perfectly executed cross drop, or use of the broken manual drop mechanic by either. And DB's as they are are garbage at dealing with them unless RNG blesses you with hits, which aside from the fact I'm fully against it being all CV's have DWT's, only UK, with it's real lack of DB development and more likely gearing as capital ship killers should have them, means we need a serious buff to DB's if they wanna pull that nonsense. And as to perma spotting, only way to fix that is to fix the damned fighters. Only time I have fighters or any plane parked over a DD in spotting range is when my fighters have no contest and to other ships are nearby. Basically, when my IJN ships are against USN strike, and my USN ships are against strike USN and any IJN set up.
