Should just drive to J10 at the start of a match so they don't drag there team down. Just had a match where I got the only 4 kills on my team. 1040XP in a loss. The next highest on my team was 315XP. I couldn't believe my eyes at how fast my teammates we're dying. In all fairness I drove to the back of my cap on standard mode and farmed damage as all the full health reds pushed. Its just funny when you look at the game timer and at the 17:53 mark of a match and your already down 4 ships. FML.

What tier was the battle?

Regardless, I've seen battles like that too.  And fairly often, when you look at the after action report, team page, there seems to be a severe talent mismatch, if the ranked battles rankings of the players are any indication of talent.  (Yes, there are exceptions, but I suspect that they're the exceptions that prove the rule, as the saying goes.)

In the long run, you will notice this happens to the enemy team as often as it does to your team.

It is exceedingly frustrating to watch your teammates disappear quickly without doing any damage, but unfortunately, it seems to be a part of WoWs life now....

The unintended upside to this, is that it makes those rare "edge of your seat", hard-fought battles between two equally-skilled teams so much more satisfying...

Man, and I thought the team I had on Halloween was bad. We managed to win, but I had 9 of the 11 kills with 53 planes shot down. Without the win multiplier, next best on the team would have been 637 xp, which would have put them at 6th on the red team.

Just had a game where our friendly Ranger seemed to want to kill his planes. Was bound and determined to kill a Monarch that had a Cleveland escort. Flew wave after wave of planes in, and meanwhile because he was a strike Ranger, did nothing to stop the enemy CV from having his way with us. And never turned his engines on....

Provided you even manage to queue into one, because of late I'm down to maybe four matches a day (if I can push myself to it) yet lucky to even see anything besides either or both of the teams ending up in a fishball.

All I want to do is queue in, win more than I lose, focus on team play, and do at least average (whether the server or my own) damage; it shouldn't be this damn difficult just to accomplish those small goals.

 

I had a first few good matches with Hindy, and was doing great with Lion, yet now it's like those ships have been replaced with completely different versions that only do jackall in endless craptastic matches.

 

Basically, the game is losing what little fun factor it possessed in the first place - if I want futility & failure I can go do some kind of real work instead that may at least reward something after the effort.
