Halloween Unique Camo

Okay, I get the unique camo for tree ships (Benson, Bismarck, etc.), but why Tirpitz?  

Help me understand.

Because WG used Tirpitz as a playable ship in the Event Scenario. They are also currently selling the Rasputin skin for 4k, for interested Nikolai owners.

 

The only other Premium ship used in the Halloween Event is Mikasa; but for whatever reason, WG has decided not to sell the Zikasa skin this year.

They did alot of work on those event ships, and the skin for it ended up looking pretty nice. So someone at wargamming decided to add it to list.

Just a few annoyances with the unique camo.

 

One, they don't have all the special effects animations.  A great example is the one for Tirpitz.  In the Event Scenario, you have electrical fields flickering with the coils.  Outside that Event Scenario, that effect is gone.

 

Also, the CVs do not have the skins of their planes altered.  For example, Lexington's aircraft skins outside the Event Scenario are not using these:

Well that’s a bummer.  The animation is what made the skins/camo cool.

That's weird. My blade camo has the steam punk piston smoke stacks animations and the paddle wheels turn. *shrugs *

Was hoping that the look of the planes would change...

Then it'll be worth it to grind to Shokaku

Just got the Igor camo for the St. Louis and love it.  It almost looks like a regular ship, too.  In battle, their are white arcs coursing between the various electrodes.  I also have Scarab for Charles Martel and don't think there are any moving parts on it.  It looks really good, but doesn't look like a normal ship at all.
