According to the website the Spoils of Revolution challenge is over tonight at 7:20 pm Eastern time. The mission was appearing earlier today. I just won a battle in Okt Rev ship and noticed that no container was won. When I checked the Challenges it was gone. Is this a bug or did they remove it too early?

When vodka comes into play, time is a variable thing.

You'd think people would have learned by now that WG does everything by the 24-hour clock, even if they stupidly insist on using the colon.

0720 is seven twenty in the morning.

Why don't they just end it on the 24th?  instead of confusing the hell out of all of us

Because that's when the daily server reset takes place, at 0720 hours on the morning of the date stated.

Seriously you lot, this is not bloody rocket science! Stop looking for things to whinge about and get on with the rest of your life!

No need to be/remain confused. The Leading Zero in 0720 is the giveaway that it's a 24-hour time basis. When you see the leading zero, ALWAYS think 0720 equal Oh Seven-Hundred Twenty Hours.

I would think after 5207 battles and 447 posts in this forum, that this would have been seen many times by now.

07:20 is 7:20 AM not PM

Whoops ninjad by everyone lol.

Just for future reference nearly every event starts and ends in the very early morning PST.

Because, if you understand the 24 hour "military clock" you're not confused.  You could've gotten up at 0200 (that's 2 AM ET) and won one if you wanted...

I am upset they scheduled an update today at 0600 (6 AM ET) so you lost 1:30 (one hour & thirty minutes) of crimson crate win time...  Would've gone nice with my morning coffee...  Oh well.

i don't remember a single mission or event that didn't end at that exact time in the morning. it's a 24 hour clock. it doesn't say PM. it says PT (pacific time) and ET (eastern [US] time).

this shouldn't be a surprise to someone with over 5k battles. this is how they've always done it.

Because we would still have people complaining. Failing to read the timezone and thinking it is their local timezone.

They really should just go to UTC, and be done with it.  We can do our own local conversions if we so desire wish.  Hell, if you aren't in the ET time zone, you still gotta do a conversion.

Yeah, but if clan battles is anything to go by, WG doesn't care if you don't live in Eastern...

They have always ended events in the mornings.  Nothing new here.  Also since this is a Belarussian company the use the 24 hour clock (as many have said).  Given that many of their past communications with the NA community have been through cut-and-paste Google translate I can understand the confusion at times.  This notice wasn't too bad they just needed to add a AM PM for all those folks who never served and got confused :)

Not just a 24 hour clock...but a 24 hour UTC clock.  UTC is the same everywhere on the earth.  Russia....Europe....US (east coast...west coast)...Brazil, Mexico...Canada....Japan...Belarus...same time EVERYWHERE!!!!

That won't change the need for WG to pick an appropriate UTC time for the region in question.  If WG wishes an update to occur in the morning on the NA server, they would simply choose a UTC time that corresponds to morning for regions serviced by that server.  We can convert from UTC to our local time if necessary.  Again, we already perform a mental conversion if the time used by WG isn't our time zone (e.g., California users must convert ET to PT), so we're already adept at doing these conversion.

If folks cannot understand the 24 hour clock system tossing Zulu time in will only confuse them more.  :)
