Better yet do you get the credits back you spend on upgrades?

Doubtful, but I would think you get to keep the upgrades.

I honestly don't care about the ones on the T3 ships, (they were all just surplus inventory) but if I spent dubs and six-figure credits to demount/buy upgrades for the T8s, and I don't get them back, I would not be amused....

They go in your inventory.

I thought they were sold for credits, but I could be mistaken.

All the XP earned is returned to cruiser Orlan.

omg I put around 5 000 000 silver to upgrade that BB

They're always good for your next Tier 9 :Smile_Default:

I'm almost at 3 million credits, once I get there, I'll buy the upgrade I want for FdG, and throw it on Magnus.

There is an announcement about this:

Quote

If you purchased upgraded consumables during the event, they'll be removed in the next update with 7,500 Credits added to your account for each unit.

Nothing about modules but I'd say that they will just be demounted.

I believe most of us want to know about module upgrades, not consumable upgrades. I believe they are demounted for free and placed into your inventory after the ship is removed from your port.

Update 0.6.13 concludes the "A Light in The Dark" operation, and all ships and their Commanders is removed from your accounts.  All upgrades, signals, and flags are then removed from the ships and placed in the Inventory."

Does the same apply to CW rentals?

I think so. I was going to purchase a module the other day only to discover that I already had one. Since I have no doubloons I never demount them.

Yes, they'll be dismounted so you can put them on your next set of rentals (or not).
