It's a turd ship when compared to the Italian Gucci that just came out....so I could see them shewing the credit making a bit.

 

CCCP ship is not stronk, it's a bad boat that gets turned to dust readily.

 

Yet my glorious Italian lady literally trololololol's around even up to tier 7...it's magnificent!

My survival rate in the Oct Rev 67% (about 3 times what my lifetime and weekly averages are). 
My k/d ratio in her is 3.5 where my lifetime avg is 1. 

I've also 1-1 dueled a CO and won. Doing more than 34k in damage to it, when I started with less than 34k in health. 

So, I disagree with you entirely. 

Credit sources aren't broken out in the report screen, but on a crummy match (no caps, 55k in damage, and 1 kill) I had 146k credits. That's pretty good I think.

i haven't played t5 for a long time, is that the norm, or the "premium" ship prints more money?

She’s a premium ship, so she earns more money than a standard tree ship.

Yup - it’s a Premium w/ a cammo that gives you a 50% bonus like most Premiums (Missouri is the outlier w/a 100% bonus).

yea, it gives you more credits. 

 

I dont think it is a bad ship.  this thing is strong imo.  10 matches so far and it has better stats than my other tier 5 BBs by a fair amount.(they only have a few more matches than this does so the sample size is similar)

the camo only gives 50% more xp

Tho the cammos state only more XP, you get more credit than tech tree ships as well - the actual credit bonuses vary from ship to ship (I think LWM tried to do a study w/real data, but I don’t know if that was ever published.  You can do your own analysis w/the ships you own, but this is approximately what I found as an approx. rule of thumb value (w/ variations) for the ships I have in port (106 ships in port w/combinations of DDs, CL/CAs, BBs & Premiums).

 

When you use the flags and cammos that further bump the credits by 20% or 50%, it stacks with this base ship credit earning value.

 

Also, be aware that when I did this for my ships, the credit bonuses seem to scale w/ Tier.  Most of my Premiums are T6 & above.  The higher the Tier, the greater the silver bonus.  Some data miners have claimed bonuses of over 100% for the T8 Tirpitz & 300% for the Mizzou.  My own ship mix & playstyle gave me numbers closer to what I posted (as an average).

Not everything with a gold icon is a true premium. ARP ships, for instance, don't have bonus earnings.

As for Oktyabrskaya Revolutsiya, I've played it a bunch, but I couldn't tell you whether it's actually earning bonus credits.

As you likely know hangglide, but isn't made clear in your post; these are the multipliers for XP that are tied to the camo.

Yep - Premium ships have a credit multiplier as well, but as far as I've seen researched, the credit multiplier varies by ship, and is tied to the hull, not the camo, and is an unpublished stat.  LWM references this in her Missouri review.  Note that some camo do have a published credit multiplier, high Tier perma camo and Kii being examples.

Some Premiums also seem to have unpublished higher base XP rates; Sims is the one I've seen referenced most, but no solid proof or methodological testing on this can realistically be done.

Much better explained than my attempt! +1 - I thought LWM was going to do a full analysis for all ships, but I lost track of that thread & didn’t follow up on it - the secret sauce for credit earned seems to be revealed in some cases in bits & pieces so that’s why I kinda did my own rule of thumb math w/my own ships in port along w/general observations - but the short answer for the OP is you do make more on Premiums, it appears to scale by tiers (you get a bigger bump the higher you go) & there are cases like the Missouri & Sims that are a bit of an outlier, as you point out.
