To the forum's favorite mouse. . .

When you do your review of Musashi. . . could you pay particular attention to how well the armor sheds damage, and how effective the secondaries are?

I'm very curious if Musashi can be a Japanese version of the German battleship playstyle.

Thanks!

Musashi wont perform the role of a German Battleship any better than Yamato can right now, probably worse as she has nerfs, which affect her armor. although I'm not fully aware, its either the armor underneath her belt or the angled front on the citadel that forms the weakness underneath her front 2 guns, either way. she'll tank like a Yamato, if that helps.

Yep.  I may enlist the help of a couple of the wiki staff or other NDA-bound people to pew pew her if I find anything weird.  Currently I've been rather busy making ships twirl, though.

Hopefully gathering data to answer the questions of how ships behave during a turn under different levels of power. Like, why do they settle at the speed they do? Is there drag? Does thrust matter? Does it vary by ship? Why do some ships seem to power slide so hard while others don't?

I'm working on that too.  Part of my study is to twirl a ship to determine it's maximum rate of rotation at flank speed and her rudder hard over.  I found some ... inconsistencies, we'll call them, when I was comparing Giulio Cesare to the other tier V battleships.  This prompted a larger study of the turning circle radius listing in port.  Long story short:  Some ships have smaller or larger turning circles at full speed than what's listed in the port.

Ah, ok. From above like that, destroyers sometimes lose a little bit of fidelity so they look the same.
