Pick a ship in-game and list some forum acceptable nicklnames you like to use for it.

I just ground out the Friedrich Der Grosse.

So my ride is the "EffDeeGee", "Fat Freddy" "Large and In Charge" or the  "Big Eff Bote"

Here are some nicknames I've heard of (edited);

Pensacola = Pepsicola

Clemson = seal clubber

Benson = Benny

Lexington = Lexi

Furutaka = furry-taco

Kongo = Kongue or Kongo desu (insert anime meme here)

Kii = Kiiiiiiiiiiiiii

Yamato = Yammy

Moskva = (cue 'Moscau' by Dschinghis Khan)

Krasny Krym = Krispy Kreme

Tirpitz = Derpitz (due to many inexperienced players purchasing her)

GroBer Kurfurst = Uber Kurfurst

Dunkerque = Dankship

Hood = Majestic Shtick

Any ARP ship besides Kongo = SS Weeboo (Don't ask me why, that's what I've heard in the game)

I've learned more about anime since getting into WoWs last year than I learned all my life. I'll probably regret asking, but curiosity is demanding I know. Why Weeboo?

I don't know why, I prefer calling them SS Waifus, but that's what I've heard from the players in the game.

I heard about waifus in adsf's How to Atlanta video. I thought waifu meant island since that was pictured on the pillow. :Smile_teethhappy: I have since learned differently. :Smile_teethhappy:

humm..

Umikaze,    OhMyGodSki  (players first intro to sneaky long range torpedo soup)

Shimakaze, Shimmy

Fuso, FuMe!  (Admittadly heard it once from a cruiser I whacked behind and island at 25Km, but it did sum up his feeling on the matter nicely..prolly didn't mean it as a ship nick *shrugs*)

Atlanta, Lol'lanta

Shokaku, Sho

Minikaze, Mini

Kamimaze, Kami  (which is a bit of an inside joke BTW.. "kami" are spirits, can be terrifyingly powerfull.)

And a special shout out to all those ships that are so good at what they do that a nick name is a diminishment of what they are...

Like  "Mikasa " rhymes with Mufasa.. (ohhh that gave me shivers say it again..  Mufasa.. oh oh, love it .. Yay "Lion King")

Kagero,
