Playing tier 7 carriers is getting me pissed off. I have a ranger Two fighter groups two torpedo groups it gives you another option which is stupid no Fighters One Squadron of torpedoes and three squadrons a bombers everytime I go up against a TR7 hiryu they have three squadrons of Fighters One Squadron of torpedo bombers two squadrons of dive bombers so thay go after my team with dive bombers. I have to keep my Fighters with my ship because they sneak around outside the map with their torpedo bombers and I can't protect my team . That send Fighters after my dive-bombers and they escort their torpedo bombers outside the map to attack my carrier. Same goes with the Saipan. So i wind up not helping my team cuz they're going after me and a lot of times they lose even if they do sink me. Whatever happened to a good old knockdown fight it's going outside the map is bull if they want to do sniping tell them to play first person shooter if it's a glitch fix it.Or is it a way for me to spend money on a Saipan to compete.

Simple fix...keep your CV placement just behind the fleet. At the beginning of the battle tell the team to stick together for fighter cover. Anyone who strays off will not be covered. Then it's on them if they get CV sniped. Learn to strafe properly. One fighter group can demolish any strike group from any tier VII CV so long as your timing is right. If you're still struggling, only focus on the caps or flank the team wants to push then as you improve you can start spreading your activity out across the map.

Also, don't strike with your DBs at the same time. Drop one, set fires, wait for repair and drop the same target again. GL

Scout with your fighters at the start of the match and try to strike something with your attack craft. If you don't see the enemy aircraft for a couple minutes assume they are border sneaking and keep your fighters within range of your cv. Let them waste all that time trying to snipe you and failing while you actually support your team.

When I use my 1+1+1 Indy I send my bomber off to the edge of the map to use as a scout for just that. The fighter will scout the center or an area requested by the team.
