Fubuki is a great little ship.  Love her power and torps.    :Smile_medal:

Just received her a week ago. Have not figured her out. She is a little suicidal, keeps jumping into situations she should not. Hope to figure her out help her with her death wish. Vodka that's the answer. (for me)

Unbelievable record Mr. Cooper. bow to your abilities and skill set.

The Kamikaze sisters didn't get nerfed with the rest of the Japanese tech tree ships. I play the Fujin and the Kamikaze a lot. Funny how I am better on the Fujin but they are really just the same ship.

Get the ship upgraded ASAP; and get the improved torps, get the "B" hull, and it WILL all get better Ms. Saito!

(Oh, and YES, Vodka IS the answer; but what the hell was the question?)

Thank you Mr. Umikami its a work in progress like us all. Just would like to be more aware. Not ships fault I lack situational intuition I assume.  Love the ship my favorite so far. Had great Uncle who served on Michishio and Fubuki while not the same look close to same. Nostalgia for someone I never met. Illogical but there nonetheless.

Talking about great uncles I had eight of them on my mothers side in the German army during WW2 one of them was in the 6th army and march through Paris when France surrendered the same 6th army which surrendered at Stalingrad and all of them died fighting in the Russian front for the Father land .........So much for war     !  !  !

Herr Von Hess, sir. What a terrible time in our histories. and the loss suffered on all sides. Yet do to their achievements we play these wonderful Wargames and I believe it honors them as we show so much interest for them and their life and deaths. In their deaths, they went with honor and a belief in their comrades. I believe death as a great and wonderful release from the pain suffering of life. The men are at peace. so pray for them and ourselves. for we our next.

Glad you are doing well on it, Fub was my least favorite IJN DD - did not like the guns and the torps seem too slow, so had run torp acceleration, cutting down the range.  Shino has the extra turret, like its performance.  - liked the Hatsu on the other side of the tree better then the Fub

Depends on how crazy the Fubuki captain is.

Answer Mr. Dar (cannot say the rest) I would surmise that the ship that would lose would be the one I operate. lol

Honestly that is up to you. Shinonome and Fubuki are both good ships but Hatsu I like better. All 3 are equal to me with their strengths and weaknesses. There simply is no overpowered ship in that lineup just different ones.

That's cool, hope he did OK. And yeah, Michishio is definitely different, but similar, to Fubuki (though more so before she lost her third turret)

They're the same ship, except Shinonome has the regular 3 turret design; so whoever has the best captain?

I second Pete's opinion that Hatsuharu is the better of these ships, and definitely has it over Fubuki since she lost her third turret.

Great uncle did not return from war lost same time as ship. Was Torpedo officer. 海軍大尉 Kaigun-daii. Have picture of shrine. Only one in family I can talk to. Might commission painting of it and him. Response to statement, I am not very good with artilery try to use torpedoes mostly and hope for luck. Destoyers are entertaining before you are observed then goes to the dark place instanter. Most fun for me though not best damage.

Well, but they aren't.  With the same 10 pt captain:

Yes, Shinonome has 1 more x2 gun turret, but her gun range is 9 km while Fubuki is 11.5 km.

Fubuki has 10km torp range with speed of 59 kts, Shinonome has 8km and 63 kts.

Fubuki has 2.0 sec rudder shift, Shinonome has 2.6 sec (both with Steering Gears Mod 2)

Fubuki has an AA rating of 22, Shinonome has AA rating of 2.

Actually, they ARE the same ship; the stats are different for balance (same reson Fubuki lost the third turret). Shinonome is a Fubuki class DD.

Again they are all different yet similar in game - Shinonome has the slowest RoF and slowest turret traverse while Hatsu is the fastest. Really I don't see one ship weaker or stronger just slightly better at different things over the others. Umikami knows I tested this during Ranked with Fubuki and Hatsu and you could see the differences in stats but the overall stats were the same.
