I find her a great ship but not OP and feel she should be the balance standard for the whole RN BB line. The ship has amazing concealment but has very short range by BB standard. So you can't just sit back and snipe. Instead you need to dive in and out of combat to make the most out of her. Her HE is good but not OP. You still want to use AP against broadside targets and only switch to HE when there are only angled targets. This encourages switching between ammo type, which IMO is skillful play. She is reasonably tanky but has a small health pool and no super heal. So she doesn't feel like an immortal as some of the higher tier RN BBs. I need lots of credits though. I have to buy 2 ships and upgrade 3 ships and then those other 2 ships and that means I have to grind like 50 million credits first, before I start grinding the remaining ships. After what I've seen and read before, I am not looking forward to Monarch, but yes to Lion. We'll see. Got Monarch. Love it. I amend my previous comments, done with what I have read from opinions. I do better than KGV. So far (in the very few battles I have in it) it is not a bad ship. Like it as much as I do Hood, Nelson, and Iron Duke/Orion. That said, Monarch feels not so much balanced or unbalanced, but simply underwhelming. The AP on broadsides is spot on as is HE on the hard angles, but, in my opinion, the real play on this ship is constantly maneuvering her to minimize weaknesses, and maximize concealment (early game) and damage mitigation (late game).
