I never made it over there before because of the prior reviews. There is a very thick layer of salt that has encrusted the WoWP forum with the release of 2.0 (too arcade-y for the old guard), but being a newb to the game I find it to be a nice, if somewhat frantic change of pace to ships and tanks. It's also cool that you can earn free XP in planes that you can put toward your Nelson or Missouri (and that your premium time works there, too). The one distracting thing when I play is that the voiceover guy sounds exactly like Zoup to me. Could it be that he is now on the payroll? I literally have no expectations for it and it exceeded them (low bar, I know). I couldn't get pass the fact that the camera does not hold on the reticle, which is pretty much how I've flown every single thing from Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator: WWII Europe Series to Battlefield 3. Yea, a lot of the veteran players are not thrilled with 2.0 but i still think it's a fun game.
