After much anticipation, Clan Wars are finally around the corner.  We're not sure how they're going to play out, but if they are anything like they were in Tanks, we are going to want a place we can practice strategies and coordination.  In Tanks, this was done in Training Rooms.

Training Rooms have been "sort of" in this game since release.  You can use them, but you need mods or some fiddling in the game's files to activate them.  But the developers have never been satisfied with how well they work, saying they are buggy and not ready, and kicking the can down the road every update when asked about it.  They support the workarounds to access them, but have yet to officially activate them in the client for every player to use.

Can we stop putting this feature off now?  Training Rooms are ideal for CW practice, and we shouldn't have need some workaround that needs to be reset every update to access them.  For CW to be successful, we need participation, and to get that we need people to easily get to together to learn to work as a team.  And we shouldn't need to ask everyone to download this, or fiddle with XML that.  We need a pull-down option in the client, available out of the box.  It's long overdue, and now has a good reason to become accessible.

Clan WARS are not just around the corner.  Clan BATTLES are.  :Smile-_tongue:

Clan Battles sound like they're similar to what Stronghold Battles are in WoT.  CW's would involve clans fighting clans to gain control of territory possession of which would bring income of some form (perhaps doubloons) to the clan.

It's changing one word in a file using notepad, I dont think you'll find it hard to use.

That's not the point, though.  It should be a vanilla feature of the game as installed, especially now that we're going to have a game mode to train for.  If it's easy for us to change one word in a file, it's easy for the devs to do the same.  They've had 2 years to get the mode working right.  WoT had it pretty much from the beginning.
