How do you get Yamomoto collection items?

It doesnt seem like my containers are giving me very many.  Is there something special you have to do to qualify for it?

You're probably not alone - the containers are dropping at about a rate of a collection item per 3 containers for me - As long as you're getting them, your configuration is set correctly (i.e. it's possible to disable receipt of collection items for the Yamamoto collection) - but short of paying for the containers in the Premium shop, it looks like you have to wait until you open over 100 containers to even have a chance to get the 40 collection items.

You either accept the RNG or buy containers for real money. As I mentioned weeks ago: if you bought one container from the store when they came out you could have started the collection before you finished the Yamamoto campaign. But you don’t miss too much anyway and the collection will stay ingame.

At first I thought it was every daily container you opened, but some days I got 2/3 boxes with collection items, sometimes 3/3.  Just be patient and you can get them freely it may just take some time.

I'm glad I finished the collection. It was a lot of work to finish the set when you got a collectible with every crate. I can't imagine how long it would take to complete the set now that they limit the drops....

I haven't read anywhere that they limited the drops.

Have you looked at the top of this thread? Two people have suggested the drops are limited now...

so if we were to get duplicates would we get credits in exchange instead? I haven't got any items yet, just wondering for future reference.

Have you: A) Completed the Yamamoto campaign? or B) Purchased a Yamamoto container? If not then you won't get any. If you did, then it is a random chance. Some will have some, some won't. You might have a bunch in a row, you might get none for the day.

At the moment, considering the amount of items there are, duplicates won't be converted any time soon. You can still use them for buying other items form the collection at a 5:1 rate.

After you finish the collection they will no longer drop from a container. All the duplicates you have at that point will be sold for credits.

While it is a lot of money to fork out at once, the 56 container bundle is great value for money. It costs the same as 24700 doubloons, iirc, and you get on average 43-44.000 doubloons worth of special flags in it which is quite a discount. Back when I bought it I got 228 Wyvern flags, 108 Red Dragon flags, 132 Dragon flags, 96 Ouroboros flags, 176 Hydra flags and 900.000 credits for duplicates. That was approx a 46% discount on the flags alone.

In the event you do get dupes from the premium shop containers, they convert to 15K each item. The dragon flags are indeed well worth the boxes.

How do the custom cruiser camos look?  That's mostly what I'm interested in anyway.

Aoba again with the camo menu showing the 3 camo patterns with the options.

Currently, this only works for Type 1, 2, 5 credits camo, as well as the Type 6 doubloons camo.  Perma-camo that lacks the optioin.  You simply click on the blue or green box and that's it.  It's the same for the other ship types once you've unlocked it for them.

I never said it was a fact. I was simply making a statement based on the opinion of the OP. I'm not saying the drop percentage increased or decreased.

Reality: Prove the drops haven't changed. You stated it as a fact, I expect you to be able to back it up with evidence.

After finishing the collection, no more items have been dropped on containers for me, so I guess no more money for duplicates. Sorry
