Hello all,

     Not sure if this is the right board to be discussing game play, but I had the funniest game the other day, and I'm kicking myself for not recording it.

 

     I was playing a Co-Op battle in my Tier VII Algérie, on the map that looks like Two Brothers.  I started the battle by going up the left flank, and as luck would have it, ran smack into most of the bot fleet.  If you have never played the Algérie, I think it's a great ship, but it's made out of glass, and the decks are awash with lighter fluid.  Anyway, I did a quick about turn, taking fire the whole time, and two of the BB's start chasing me (I think one of them was a Scharnie).  So I'm engaging the closest of the two with HE from the two rear turrets.  I got focused too much on doing that, and when I panned out to see where I'm going [insert Homer shriek], there was an enemy DD, closing fast.  Ah, the hell with it.... I used the DD for a speed bump, killing it & losing 2/3 of my health in the process.  I turned out of the channel and quickly let loose with a torpedo spread.  Well it completely misses the first BB, who gets taken out by a friendly BB, but the torpedoes slam into the 2nd BB in line, sinking it.

 

     I take cover in a smoke screen provided by a friendly DD & continue to blaze away at the enemy line.  Another DD comes barreling towards my position, so I hit the gas & launch another spread as I turn away.  The DD turns away & gets taken out by a teammate before the torps even reach where he was......and then they hit & sink a cruiser behind him.  I almost died laughing.

 

     Anyone else had funny moments like this?
