I'll probably not spend the money in upgrades for it but I thought I'd take it out for a spin. First, the ship is very skinny. There were several times when a BB should have had me dead to rights but the dispersion caused all of the shells to land around me. Second, the ship is pretty stealthy for a tier V DD at 6.3 km without any upgrades, which allows you to get close to your prey undetected. Unfortunately, you still have those short-range Russian torpedoes, though here they are 4.5 km versus 4 km. However, you have four triple-launchers! Finally, the ship has a bunch of guns and reminds me somewhat of the St. Louis in that respect. I got one kill on a cruiser and a couple of caps with the ship. Another guy was really having fun with those torps and landed quite a few. I ended up on the winning team, placing 4th down from the top. I think that some people are going to like this tier-V ship and if you are collecting Russian-line ships you might consider it. At least, if you get the trail give it a whirl. I capped and then went CV hunting as I saw the planes always going back to one spot. Sure enough, there was the enemy CV. Those 4.5 km torpedoes are fine and dandy versus a ship that has no main guns to shoot back at you with. One CV down. Unfortunately, I then got in a dogfight with two of the enemy Okhotniks and came out the worse for it. I did come in 4th on the winning team though. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Imagine now that a lot of people have played it,what T5 battles will be like if it goes on sale for around 20 bucks.. This morning, there was one in my port after playing one game. I felt like a little kid at Christmas time. I immediately took it out and played several battles with it. I used my 10 pt captain from the scenario missions to help her get up to speed. What a blast it is. Can't wait to get one I can keep longer than 3 days.
