No, I am not selling anything. I am not a YouTube content creator, but I appreciate what they do.

Recently YouTube decided to make it harder for our favorite (and no favorite, YMMV), content creators to make a living. Although Jingles is one of those who has mentioned this, it has affected a great many of them.

I really like the videos and found them helpful, informative, funny and so forth. But most of the videos, once posted, don't get a lot of views after the first week or so. Unfortunately, the YouTube bot that is screening the videos for terrorist-related content (and our favorite games are full of explosions, aren't they?), cut the ad revenue while they are being evaluated, for about a... week or so.

Until YouTube gets this whole thing sorted out, I am going to start watching older videos by my favorite creators, which are still producing ad revenue for them, so as to at least kick in a few bucks from the ad guys. I can't afford much, but I will do what I can do to help.

If you like some of the content, re-watch or check out older stuff that's been on long enough to kick some in, and leave the banner or whatever active for more than 30 seconds.

Or not, if that's your thing.

You can directly support your favorite youtube channels by becoming a Sponsor of their channel or by giving them Super Chat messages when they live stream. (The catch is, they need at least 1000 subscribers and they need to enable those features)

Stuff like this is why I haven't monetized and would be a little hesitant to actually do it if I ever had the subscriber base to support the decision :Smile_amazed:
