You will see an improvement with it, but it is so small that in my opinion it is worthless. The Minotaur (with Main Battery Mod 3 installed but without Main Battery Mod 2) has a 180 degree turret traverse time of 5.4 sec. The only reason to take Expert Marksman on the Minotaur captain is if you use the captain regularly on a premium ship that will see a benefit from the skill. Using Jack's buff on the smoke screen and jack of all trades skills is a must if you have him in this ship. Your turrets already turn 4 times faster then those of the Neptune. It's like tweaking a Porsche Carrera GT engine to give you extra 5 HP. Her turrets beat those of the Atlanta and the Sims. I was looking ahead and realized the Neptune is cut in half of the Edinburgh and the Minotaur is half of the Neptune. I am hoping for a discounted or free respec, but not too soon as I need to get through, or mostly through the Edinburgh before I remove EM from the captain.
