Scharnhorst! without doubt the best all around T7 BB and premium.

You're missing the Atlanta - the most fun ship in the game.

If you hate CVs Atlanta is the best premium tier 7 to buy!! Not because it has excellent AA and defensive fire but because whenever I take mine out there can be 50 CVs in queue but you can guarantee they won't be one in my game! Funny!! :Smile_amazed:

No Atlanta...no vote. She's my favorite ship right now.

I personally love the Sims in PvP play. She plays like a mini Atlanta that can launch sea mines. I like the longer ranged version personally and always get a kick out of it when I manage a hit. The torps work well on those players who like to sit behind islands then poke out to shoot every once in a while.

Leningrad, which you have conveniently left out.  It is fast and nimble...and has solid torp systems for a Russian DD.

Atlanta, she can be quite a good DD hunter, she has great AA with captain skills that improve main gun range too, she can also scare whole flanks if you can get into a position that makes it hard to hit you but easy to hit them, and she has short range quite fast torps so you can ambush ships between islands or other chokepoints.

downside she can be a bit flimsy and has very high shell arcs, but on the up-side she is quite useful with various destroyer and light cruiser captain builds.

With Scharnhorst, what other T-7 ship do you need?  :cap_rambo:

I have that happen with my Atlanta too. Plus my Cleveland and Des Moines. (I use the same Captain on Atlanta and Cleveland)

Belfast because you can burn BBs, citadel cruisers and light up DDs like cockroaches in the kitchen closet then kill them.

Belfast:  the swiss army knife.  it can do a little bit of everything.

The best thing about the Sims is that she is almost as fast as her own torps. This means that you can launch from 8km or so, follow your torps to the target, then launch 8 more before the first 8 hit, then follow those in, so you have 16 fish hitting at about the same time.

On the downside, you need that many hits to kill anything.

That said, Atlanta is the most fun tier 7 by far.

I'd have to say the Atlanta or the Belfast. Both are about equal amounts of fun, the only downside is that they both require specialized captains that don't quite fit in with the rest of the ships in their nation's cruiser lines.
