There seems to be a hidden message in the latest October calendar briefings.  Ive copied it and will post it below.  It seems to have some sort of code.  Also when done in word it has a different look?

I wouldn't read too much into the text. That sort of corrupted text effect is an internet meme related to Lovecraftian horror stories. There's no deeper meaning behind the random squibbles.

unfortunately there are more than 26 unique symbols in the cypher, so its not a simple 1 to 1 replacement

Any one notice what the WoWs dev blog just posted? They seem to be trying to build a corrosive fog that damages ships who enter it and this fog will restrict vision. 

So Rasputin is coming back and bringing a deadly green gas to punish those foolish enough to face the monster.

There are between 37 and 43 unique symbols in the text and its odd since its actually text not a image, you can enter it into work and manipulate it with the font editor though none of the fonts make the symbols legible.  each row seems to be tied to the letter.

Well, discounting that it could be them just making it look cool/creepy and possibly alluding to said mist, it's possible it's not actually letters, more similar to Hieroglyphs, maybe Kanji, or some other language where the symbols could in fact be full words put together, not simply letters of a word. That, or it's individual letters across multiple "wingdings" type texts that you would need to find out which characters belong to which and the corresponding letter/number/symbol. If I was wanting a message that could be deciphred by anyone but still hard as hell, that's what I'd do, multiple types.

 

Though, I think this may just be "it looked neat".

Yeah, unfortunately for it, it looks I get airplanes this year, even without manual drop I can use them to great effect. So it lives - till I start dropping HE bombs on it's deck and ram torps into it's side.

Well, it looks like you cracked it, clean off your front porch... cause the NSA will be at your front door handing you your draft notice within 24hrs.

Ive narrowed the symbols down to 40 based on those that form the vertical lines, I've then assigned then numbers, the lines in numeric values goes as such.

I remember seeing a Brooke of codes at a book store before, bet one of those would match the message since if we are meant to decrypt it there it must have a translation key someplace.

thanks, though i gotta wonder what algorithms the  Zalgo  text generator uses since when i rand a letter frequency algorithm it came back with a figure higher than if it were a random text. but yea i think it has no meaning

its randomly generated, the symbols
