The Battles. In WOWS blow out battles are so much more rare due to the impact a single player can have in the battle. A lot of the time it's coming down to a few players on both sides battling it out as the time runs down. That's Awesome. No one likes to watch or play anything that is very predictable COUGH NBA COUGH. This is what sets it's apart from WOT. (Although WOT is a downright dumpster fire right now. but I won't go into that in this thread). In that....thing. a Blowout 15-3 or a 15-6 battle is common. It really drives a lot of the audience away because you can know how the battle will turn out within the first few minutes. 2. The Community. This Community is downright amazing. Since Closed beta, the game has grown so much, due to the talk between the players and the developers. The Devs listen, and make rational changes based on either what they know should be changed, or from an overwhelming voice from the community. 3. Balance. The game is balance so well, there aren't really any groups of ships or any classes or ships that are borderline OP. Erm British BB's This makes the game so much more enjoyable because you can go into any battle without having thoughts such as "they have a ___, guess we lose". Each class of ship has their own strengths and weakness that balance each other out. As far as issues go I can't really say much for this one. I mean I could bring up the RN BB's. Or just HE in general. Being on fire for half the battle in a BB is annoying, but I understand the mechanic. It'd be just a bit OP if BB's could just romp around the map shrugging off all damage and eating every cruiser alive. referring back to my balance point. All in all, the game is better than I've ever seen it. I believe the average age is also rather high compared to other games, hence why I think its a much better community. I really enjoy it, and have to give a shout out to the Mighty Jingles for creating videos that I randomly stumbled upon in YouTube. The complaints from players about certain things being OP or certain things being broken (ugh, radar through islands) don't bother me a huge amount, thought I do understand why the issues would annoy people. I play the game for fun when I come home from work, so I try to keep it cool as much as I can (even when driving into islands that come out of nowhere). If I find myself on a losing streak or getting mad, I just log off and do something else. If there was one thing that I wish WG would do, it's to release more maps. Tons and tons of maps. If I am playing Tier 8-10 matches, I want to see a solid rotation of 20 maps. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I especially like the game when it's 10 degrees outside in the middle of winter or rainy days when I'm home as it gives me an excuse to sit in front of the computer and play WOWS. In life, relationships...and in games herein....people tend to take the good things (and successes) for granted, and focus on the bad. That's just what we do as humans. Because success...over time....becomes the new normal. And we often lose our ability to discern all the effort (good efforts) required to establish (and sustain) the "normal", and are left with a microscope on the latest bad thing. It takes a good bit of perspective to be able to take a step back and absorb the entire picture. Again, be it life, relationships, or even a game like WOWS. The "normal" we see today was never a given. It took (and takes) a lot of hard work...failures along the way...and perseverance. As OP noted, this is a great game. Look at what has been achieved.
