Montana - why all the sniping?

Another loss in Amagi. I stayed with our Montana to provide support, and the guy had no way of not knowing it as I asked him several times in chat to lead charge into cap on Two Brothers, even helped drop the Grorozoi in the cap. No more excuses, but noooo he refuses to push the cap cause an Iowa and Hindenburg also sniping at him.

 

I don't understand this rubbish. A T10 BB has support, he should push a cap once odds are reasonable it'll work. Instead the Montana insisted on snipe snipe snipe. What is this attitude? It's one way to throw matches in a BB that's menacing. Bbs are supposed to push caps if odds of success are reasonable. Or is Monty such an UP BB that it can't stand up to one T9 cruiser?

the Montana should have DELETED both of those ships with nary a scratch.... Bad BB players are just BAD.... simple...

It works sometimes, but a Montana is not a brawler, short range secondaries, and largish turning circle. Once committed it's all or nothing on a push. showing side in a Montana (which is inevitable in the situation you describe), is really bad. 

 

But yeah, deleting the Hindy should have been his first move while others suppressed the Iowa. Then push, everyone focusing the Iowa. You push when you either are behind and you die if you don't cap, or if you're team is a pack of onecappers anyway, or if you're mopping up.

Tell you what Reymu....when people learn how to lean on each other during matches this game will begin to evolve in the direction we want ....er or some of us want it to go.

I know from personal experience that you get it... I watched you in a game bout a month ago I think you were Hindy , the BBs you supported pushed and all worked together, it was fun to watch. We won and I think you got Kraken  in that game. The combination of BBs punishing others and your Cruiser supplementing their fire was unstoppable.

Sez who?  Mind you, I do, but I won't speak for everyone else (or at least try not to do so).
