tier 8 MM unplayable!!!11!

Tier 8 MM is so screwed right now, its completely unplayable

 

just got the NC and playing 8 games in it stock, not 1 game was i top tier, 7 of them were in tier 10 games and 1 was tier 9

good thing i am in a BB, but what if i was in a cruiser.....

Good luckwith that, always been that way, always will. Not enough players play tier 10 ships, only slightly more play tier 9 (you can partially thank WG economy for that). Thus, tier 8's are used to fill it out. 

 

You'll get better at it, use HE on 10's, stay back a bit more than the rest. I loved the NC, did fairly well in it despite the same MM issues.

 

Strongly recommend full concealment build....the Iowa desperately needs that.

#2, there is nothing wrong with MM, as has always been said... even with negative peoples "opinions" taking ranting to a whole new level....
#3 better learn a different style if you are getting deleted so fast and downtierd every game....

If the good lord wanted me to play stock he wouldn't give me free xp

 

About the only thing I use free xp for is module upgrades on new ships. Imo its best use

I've been doing alright in charles martel .  did a stock grind on it and now fully upgraded.  :P

NC does fine with T10 MM. Except stock. Stock is the biggest problem. Also, up tiering is normal. You're just used to T7, where because T4 is limited, T5 is uptiered all the time, so you're used to being top tier most of the time. Get used to being bottom tier. Also, for someone who just came from the CO, you might appreciate how much better the NC is. Ever been a CO in a T9 game on Okinawa? Trust me, stock NC in T10 is much better.

I was playing t8 almost exclusively last few days and have not had any problems performing regardless of being top or bottom tier. Also was top tier quite often.

Wish someone would have told me sooner OP, tier 8 is where I spend most of my time.  I had no idea it was actually unplayable.

And here come the people justifying Warships' sucky matchmaking with "But it's worse in WOT!" as if that somehow excuses this game's matchmaker being bad, just not as bad.

Tier 8 is when I find most lines of ships to really shine and the being mixed with T9 and 10 lets you learn how to deal with those ships. Being stock does suck, that's why to stock up on free xp on the way. Elite command xp of 185K lets you put a brand new skipper with 10 points on board, a real plus.

All my Tier 8s and up are played stock, only way I can get XP on them.

 

No major issues.

It's called get gud. Nothing new. Uptiering gets wearying, but guess what?

 

Good chunk of your matches are gonna be unfair. Tests how well you adapt.
