Shift to BB play

is it me or has wows seen a shift to more BB play? it is frustrating to get in games and have 1 or 2 crusers and 1 or 2 DDs and the rest are all BBs that just lay off and snipe till thy are all that is left  for me its starting to take the fun out of the game.. what do you think

Yes, this has been the shift.  Battleships are easy mode and cater to those who can't be bothered with watching a mini-map, learning spotting mechanics, or protecting their broadsides.  Although games with 4-5 DD's are also common.  Cruisers seem to be the real losers in this meta change.

We need carriers that can insta delete sniper BBs. GZ?:P

Ive noticed the buffs to bbs so huge to be stupid.

Most or all bbs can now dodge close range torps so easily as to be simply jaw dropping stupid easy.

And bbs insta killing dds lately is also stupidity.

 

Bbs need a huge nerf bat and they need he taking away from main guns.

 

Also invisible close ranged bbs ............................

BBs got no "huge buff" for a while now.

Its easy to dodge torps, most players dont know how to launch torps and panic launch when they see a BB that close.

This is all very recent and the insta dd kill is very new.

the bb rudder shift is silly.

The bb invisibility cloak is also very new and silly in the extreme.

As i said, BBs "insta DD kill" is hard, you must hit all/most of your shells and that is nearly impossible at ranges. This only happens at point blank ranges. And this is the DD fault for getting that close.

 

And its not new, there was no change to BB shell vs DD in a longo time now. Players are just getting better.

In general, BBs still have the higher rudder shift time and turning circle.

There was no change to concealment values, players realize that concealment is a broken mechanic and most players use a concealment build now.

If anything BBs have been getting Nerfs lately, and as long as you don't sail in straight lines and sail broadside in DDs and Cruisers then BBs can't hurt you as badly as is commonly believed by far too many.

I enjoy sailing all classes of ships, but DDs and especially Cruisers have been gaining favor for me on the battlefield.

You can send enemy BBs running or send them to the bottom lol.

 

And also you can't blame people for using BBs when they had such prestige and power back in the day so naturally they would have a major presence in the game.

Insta kill vs dds now is at any range with a bb and ap and its very recent.

There was no change to BB AP vs DD. Its all the same. 

 

And to delete a DD at long range is nearly impossible because you need to hit all/most of your shells, wich is very hard due to dispersion.

You have not a single battle in a BB, so you probably dont know what you are talking about...

WoWS has been BB focused for a very, very long time now.  4-5 BBs per match is mandatory.  Battleships historically have been the fewest produced, but one wouldn't know that if they looked at a typical WoWS match.

Soon BB will always overpen DD if they shoot AP.

 

Then the Russian BB line will come up with laser accuracy and radar.

Even in a supposed "Overpen Only" scenario, it's still more damage than what they would have done with HE.
