Greetings, captains!

We are pleased to announce that the second phase of Graf Zeppelin testing starts this week with 0.6.11.1 update.

Rewards for test will be same:

Mission 1
Restrictions:
Random battles
Once per account
Conditions:
Over any number of battles gain 9500 base XP
Rewards:
3 random containers
20 000 elite xp

Mission 2
Restrictions:
Random battles
Twice a day per account
Conditions:
Earn 600 ship base exp
Rewards:
x2 commander's experience

GZ Test I and GZ Test II will be remove tomorrow. When the ships are removed after the test, commanders are sent to the reserve, while upgrades, flags and consumables are demounted and sent to your inventory.

All test participants will receive GZ with Torpedo Bombers and deep water torpedoes.

Please, find further information below.

Junkers 87C with DW torpedoes;
Flight control: 2-3-0;
Torpedo type: F5;
Range: 2 km;
Speed: 33 knots;
Damage: 10500.
Depth: 5,85 m (due to draught difference, DDs are mostly immune, other classes are mostly hit);
Squadron formation: cross.

This version should allow diverse TB gameplay, while removing the huge DD destruction potential of the initial loadout. The only DD counter in this version is spotting.

We also would like to thank all Phase 1 testers for participation. We will send you in-game survey on GZ AP bomb versions soon, and post a notification here as well.

Cheers!

I'd be happy to test out the new types of torpedoes they're going to use. I prefer that cruisers don't get punished as much due to the torpedo bombers.

I'd prefer WG not try to force folks to play other types of ships.  The main logic behind deep water torpedoes is to keep DD's from torping each other.

Dang, I thought they'd make it a blanket rule on what was hit by class.

Now I have to go and look up the historic draft of each of my cruisers, check if it's full load, combat load... argh.

This will be fun, will the in game t6 Warspite be affected (given she is riding high?)

Being restricted to scouting as the only dd counter, is, as ever, stupid. But this is a test, so to be taken into account.

So we got CV which can't do anything to anything except BB... looks like CV moving away from being "fixed"

The torps can hit cruisers and some dds. May want to read a bit closer.

I read, agree, phrasing wasn't accurate, still not sure anyone want to go memorize draught of all T6-10 ships... therefore second part of my sentence was true - WG just keep fixing CV class into naval abomination
