I thought there were going to be changes to smoke firing in 6.11? No mention in the patch notes. Still testing? Disappointed

Right, let them implement something that can change the whole game drastically (for worse, if it's fecked up), or keep hold of it to add more tweaks.

They probably weren't quite ready to release it.  I doubt that they've stopped on it.  The smoke changes make sense this time, rather than the one where the shots would make smoke dissipate...

What if, for instance, a BB is not actually in the smoke but behind it so no enemy can spot it when it fires; will the new smoke mechanics influence that scenario? If not, then BB captains may start asking for DDs to smoke a horseshoe shape around the ship to avoid detection under the new mechanics coming.

Too much smoke in this game.  BBs and CAs should not be able to fire accurately and invisibly from smoke for 90 seconds. I favor:

1. BBs and CAs - add 150% to dispersion when firing from smoke. or

2. Decrease visibility for BBs and CAs by only 30% when in smoke.

My 2 cents.
