Consumable Torpedoes

Why not make torpedoes a consumable, then buff them back to pre-nerf beta levels for range, speed, and especially detection?  3 or 4 salvos of effective torps per game should be enough.

Nope.  I've never played Tanks, but gold ammo sounds like a real game choker.

No. Because this won't work. You fire your "effective torpedoes" and at that second, the enemy turns in and changes direction. Suddenly your effective torps are now ineffective.

 

Now you only have 3-2 left. After that, it's guns only...have fun!

Torpedoes are already limited. One can only launch a set amount in a game due to cooldown and time constraints.

No, there was already a topic about things like premium ammo, and those threads were utterly destroyed by hatred to the OPs of them and rightfully so
