Option to skip the crane animation would be nice

In your bios you can choose to skip the manufacturer splash image.

In your bios you can also choose to skip the full memory count.

In windows you can choose to skip the windows loading animation.

In Civilizations, you can choose the quick combat mode to bypass the combat animations.

In countless other games you can choose to bypass the opening video or in-game repetitive elements.

 

The key here is choice is a good thing.  Especially when it comes to skipping repetitive / monotonous tasks or visuals that get in the way and/or cause unnecessary delays.

 

We get it WG.  For a company that in over two years can't take 5 minutes to locate the line of code to widen the name column on the post battle report screen so we can actually read player names, you must feel like that crane animation was an accomplishment rivaling that of mankind's greatest achievements (The Great Wall of China, The Hoover Dam, The Pyramids, Game of Thrones...).  So maybe you feel we must take time to appreciate it and not take it for granted.

 

Just saying, it would be nice to have the option.  That's all.

As in, it skip the animation for regular containers but plays the full animation when you get a Super?

Agreed... At least let us hit a spacebar or something to jump to the next portion of the animation. I can only watch a dude polishing a torpedo for so long before I begin to emulate. I'm exhausted- please have mercy.
