Today we say goodbye to the Paul H Townsend. The 1945 vintage cement carrier last ran under her own power in 2005, having since been layed up in Muskegon Michigan being used as a cement storage barge. If you've visited and/or toured the LST 393 you've seen the Townsend parked behind her. Video of the scrap tow, with appropriate music of course. I'm not going to lie, I teared up a little (ok, a lot). Goodbye old girl, you'll be deeply missed!
