Run only EM. I'm thinking--since apparently captain rerolls are discounted this weekend--of swapping for JoaT. I play very cautiously and dictate engagements whenever possible in my Hindenburg, so for most part the slightly faster MB rotation is for convenience. A shorter CD on consumables seems more worthwhile though--what do you think?

EM is really not needed on german cruisers due to their fast turret traverse. AR on the other hand is great to have.

I've kept EM on my German cruiser captain, currently on Roon, simply because of Roon's turret arrangement for the times when the rear turrets need to do a 270.  It doesn't look necessary to me for Hindenburg (if/when I get there) - even running reload, 25.4 second traverse seems perfectly adequate - so I'll probably respec at some future date.  I'll probably pick AR, but JoaT seems like a fine option as well.

I do run EM as my 1st t2 pick with AR as my 2nd after I have picked the 1st run thru options up to the 4th tier.  I like my guns to keep up with my turn.   I can fish tail in my Hindenburg

I run EM and AR, because I also run Hindenburg with MBM3, which slows down turret traverse just enough to be annoying without EM.

I would get AR as the last skill.

There are just too many T3/4 skills worth taking before AR.

Here is my Hindenburg set up. It seems to work well.

My first run was BFT/AFT then stealth cause I want to cover myself from aircraft then hide from surface vessels, Super cause heal and extra Hydro AR since you will be shot at some point might as well get more DPS out of it and Jack to keep my heals up. But I play rather aggressively usually ending up in a slot in either the first line or flanking around to put more pressure on the opposing team. As you prefer a more snipey play style I would say maybe drop AFT for Demo and Direction center. As then you get good AA a second aircraft for budget hydro or air defense (assuming you run fighter). And demo will help make the HE shells more consistent in the fire department. Otherwise I'd say Jack of all trades along with Super and the cool down flag has saved me more than a few times. So putting points in to those is worth it.
